In my opinion, no...

However, it likely is worth it to the seller or whoever the purchaser may be.

Re: Interesting Photo but is it worth £100?

Relatively cheap given some of the winning bids I have seen lately.
in my opinion the only thing that may make it worthwhile is the information on the back if it has anything of particular note.

From what I can see, it looks like it is on display in Sheffield & believed to be the Stab II/KG 4 ac which landed near Cromer on 19 June 40? Here are loads of photos of this crash which I always thought was broken up by the sea. Still £100 a photo means I and others on this forum are potential millionaires!

Re: Interesting Photo but is it worth £100?

Chris

Short answer to your main question. NO!!
As far as I am concerned photos on e-bay are rarely worth what's paid for them. Can't help thinking the sellers use 'undercover' help to inflate the prizes and thereby create a seemingly high interest in photos which are at best mediocre and at worst....lousy. But again that is just a personal reflection.

I rather prefer to spend my money on well researched books, such as those written by a certain Mr Goss...

Cheers
Stig

Re: Interesting Photo but is it worth £100?

I'm pretty sure it is a he111 belonging to KG53.

Will have to look up more information backing this up when at home.

Re: Interesting Photo but is it worth £100?

So not Cromer and not II/KG 4 all of which brings what is written on the reverse into question. Being a known photo, definitely not worth £100 but someone will no doubt pay it!

Stig: Your kind comments make me blush!
