PRO search - please help
An Italian friend of mine submitted an enquiry to the PRO, requesting information on movements of Allied (chiefly South African, British and Indian) troops in and around his native town of Montemurlo in Tuscany. But all he got in return is a file related to military justice (the shooting of a British soldier).
I'm meeting him in the second half of October and together we're going to Kew and seeing if we can have better results by searching in person. Since I'm totally new to this sort of things (yes, I admit it), I am wondering if there's anyone of you willing to offer some search tips for our visit to the PRO. Thanks. |

Re: PRO search - please help
Hello Franz,
Please let me know by PM what dates you will be there. I am often at Kew and if possible will meet you and discuss the matter. Regards, Bruce
