Re: I./SKG 10 & NSG 20 Puzzles

Thanks John & Nick. Matti had looked at VDK. In respect of Scharf, an aircraft crashed that day but there is no NVM and in respect of Löscher, nothing for that date. The other two definitely killed but date, causes and details not known

Re: I./SKG 10 & NSG 20 Puzzles

Löscher could also have crashed on an earlier date......an died from his wounds a few days later?

You state that Seibel was buried in Postdam? He is in the DRK-Bildlisten.

Do you have any other information on Derboven or Seibel?

John absolutely nothing apart from photos. A note for Seibel says 14.4.45 Magdeburg & for Derboven vermisst seit April 1945

Re: I./SKG 10 & NSG 20 Puzzles

Thanks John. It would appear that being so late in the war and close to the end, the deaths of these guys might have been missed. I have photos if interested

Re: I./SKG 10 & NSG 20 Puzzles

Yes, losses from mid March until end of war are an issue. In my JG 6 research I found approx. 10-15 losses who ar nowhere mentioned. As soon as you have a name it becomes easier.....so, we should be able to dig up something regarding Seidel/Derboven.

You stated that Seidel was buried in Potsdam....do you know where that info comes from?

John
