I would treat this with caution the log book only gives Benson as target . As I understand from info. from Chris and Andy 16 aircraft of III/KG27 set out but only two claimed to have hit Benson which was not hit . Whether these two were the ones that actually hit Brize Norton who were reported as joining the circuit before bombing (Mason) I have no idea,
