RAF Spare Part Marking

What is the meaning of 3A2 in a circle of a piece of aluminum. Maybe an inspection marking?

Yes, most likely an Inspection Stamp.

Re: RAF Spare Part Marking

Now I have the respective pics. I see also in circle a 007N5 and a circle with wings of an Eagle?
In case it is an inspection stamp what is the meaning?

Re: RAF Spare Part Marking

The level of Inspection Stamps runs long and deep.

There could be Inspection Stamps from the manufacturer of the aluminum.
Then there could be Inspection Stamps from the manufacturer that used the above aluminum to make a completed part. (Radio, bracket, etc.)
Then there could be Inspection Stamps from the aircraft manufacturer that installed the above part in the aircraft.

The list goes on and on.

Here are some aircraft Inspection Stamps, https://www.aviationarchaeology.com/src/astamps.htm
