Re: Books about the Pe-2 bomber, Yak-9 and La-5 and 7 fighters

BTW, isn't there a Czech MBI booklet on the La-5?

Jukka is absolutely right!!!
I had completely forgotten I do have the booklet. It was tucked between Geust's Red Star 4 and Maslov's I-15s booklet.

This one:

It does contain 1/72 scale drawings for La-5 subtypes.

Cheers,
Kari

It has also published a good booklet on the La-7. Good scale drawings and many detail drawings, cockpit drawings etc. Author Milos Vestsík, published 2000.

I can't lay my hands on my copy, but my memory is that this is a pretty good book. It covers mainly the LaGG-3, La-5 and La-7, but includes some material on the post-war La-9 and La-11.

Enjoy!

Frank.

Hej Frank, Jukka, Kari and Juha

Thank you very much for your input about the Lavochkin fighters books. They have been purchased!

Have a nice weekend
