I/JG 2 first EKII - TRIER - 14 December 1939

Good morning to all members.

Is there any information (on JG 2 War Diaries or Flugbuchs) about some 4-5 EKII medals being awarded at TRIER on the 14th December 1939?

Some were given to airmen of I Gruppe JG 2 and it seems, some were to members of the Staff or Ground personnel.

I have tried, in vain, to find the names of airmen eventually agraciated with EKII this day, from this unit. ANY help, most welcomed.

in December 1939 I./JG2 was stationed at Frankfurt-Rebstock.

Trouble is awards for EK II would have been a low-key event. Sight of photo might help in ID-ing. Non aircrew will be hard to ID

Robert, it seems there was a detachment at Trier, during a short period of time.
