Sattlersbub is on a distinguished road
2./Nahaufklärungsgruppe 13

Hello gentlemen,

my name is Felix. I live in the Black Forest area in south Germany, close to the Swiss border and I have following request:
In the reviewing of the files of the state archives of Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg (war grave lists), the following war graves are listed on the cemetery in Bad Dürrheim. This town is located about 9 kilometers north of Donaueschingen:

Page 1, List-No. 7:
ELLES Karl-Heinz, * 01.11.1921 Hagen/Westfalen, Unteroffizier, 2./NAG 13, + 07.10.1944 Donaueschingen, Single Grave No. 35

Page 1, List-No. 11:
GUDER Ernst, * 06.02.1922 Berlin, Unteroffizier, 2./NAG 13, + 08.04.1945 Neukirch/Schw., Single Grave No. 60

Page 1, List-No. 12:
HAASE Wolfram Si()ard A., * 07.11.1916 Buenos Aires/Arg., Fhj.-Feldwebel, 2./NAG 13, + 27.02.1945 Gutach/Schw., Single Grave No. 45

Page 2, List-No. 16:
KUCK Karl-Heinz, * 22.08.1919 Essen, Feldwebel, 2./NAG 13, + 14.01.1945 Hochemmingen, Single Grave No. 42

Page 2, List-No 25:
SCMIDTKE Karl-Heinz, * 06.07.1924 Lyck/Ostpreussen, Unteroffizier, 2./NAG 13, + 05.10.1944 Feldberg/Schw., Single Grave No. 3?

Checking my documents, Schmidtke crashed with his G-8 W.Nr. 201391 between Todtnauer-Hütte and Hotel Feldberger-Hof and was killed. Haase was shot down in his G-6 W.Nr. 230816 by Spitfires of GC II/7 at Prechtaler Schanze/Gutach. Concerning of 07.10.1944, in my documents I have only the loss of Unteroffizier Günther Dietrich 9./ JG 76, G-14 W.Nr. 780311 in the same area of Donaueschingen, downed by French Spitfires. The 14.01.1945 is a bit puzzling for me: Gefreiter Rudolf Bohusch 14./ JG 53, G-14 W.Nr. 461385 killed in crash while making an emergency landing 5 km east of Bad Dürrheim. Hochemmingen is located about 3 km east of Bad Dürrheim. Could this maybe a confusion with Feldwebel Kuck?

I’m not sure if Uffz. Elles, Uffz. Guder and Fw. Kuck were pilots, because I can’t find any documents about these men. If so, does anyone know something about the circumstances of the death of these pilots (aerial combat, accident etc.)?

Merry Christmas and thanks in advance for answers

Regards

Felix
