Sorry. The correct designation is GC I/55. The first number is the roman, as GC II/10,
GC III/10.

Hi every body
I'm working since many year for a book around this group wich is addition of DAT patrol, include the Etampes one. The exact denomination is GC (Groupe de Chasse) 1/55 as some log book were open and all signed.
Vopalecky was shot down and wounded on Morane June 3rd during Paula raid.
By the way i am very intersting in any informationz about the two other Czechs of the group Kucera and Kopecky. After years of reasearch it's impossible to me to know if this two pilots follow the french and Polish (Krasnodebski pilots) fall back from Etampes to Bordeaux, or if they left the group earlier as some documents says....
