Luftwaffe fighter shot down near Bologna Italy 1945

I am searching any notice about a Luftwaffe fighter shot down in the first months of 1945 in the area west of Bologna, Italy, near the village of Anzola.
Thanks for any help

Toni

At this time there where no German Fighter Units in Italy, only Nachtschlachtgruppe 9, (they have a few Fw 190F-8), and Aufklärungsgruppen. My be an RSI Bf 109?

Possibly the Fw 190 F-8 of 1./NSG 9 shot down by a P-47 on 3 March 1945. It was flown by the new Staffelkapitän, Hptm. Willi Wilzopolski, who was killed.

If you find the remains of this Fw 190, please tell me its tactical code!

I have the report of two german aircrafts attacked by one USAAF of 347th FS, one german shot down and also the american one "cratered" and the pilot captured. Here follows this description:

http://simhq.net/forum/ubbthreads.ph...2004188/4.html

"In late afternoon of 3rd March 1945 machines of 347th FS / 350th FG, which operated over Italy, came across two Focke-Wulf 190s. Lt. Sigmund Hauser brought his guns to bear on one of them and loosed off (sparò) a long burst. His aim was dead on and resulted in many strikes on the wings and fuselage. However, debris torn by his rounds off the Focke-Wulf's airframe smashed against his Thunderbolt, damaging it so seriously that Hauser was forced to bail out. Both machines cratered into the ground close to each other. The Fw 190F's pilot, killed in his machine, was Hptm. Willi Wilzopolski, Staffelkapitän 1./NSGr 9. Lt. Hauser was captured. Judging for surnames of the two pilots, the American was more of German ancestry than his victim..."

Who has any other information ??

The whole story, with testimony from American and German pilots involved, is in my book "Ghost Bombers, The Moonlight War of NSG 9"

Most of the German-built fighters lost in 1945 in Italy were flown by Italian pilots, but from a ground witness would be "German aircraft". So checking the ANR losses will still be interesting.
