Operation Jubilee recovered aircrew

Gents,

I'm trying to identify which Allied vessels/craft recovered Allied airmen from the English Channel during the Dieppe raid.

I have the following recovered Aircrew

PO A. Scott (245 Sqn)-DOW (after being recovered by a Newhaven HSL in the Intermediate Patrol area?)
PO A.E. Snell (43 Sqn)-Bailed out and picked up by a LCP, which transferred him to an LCF (LCF1?)
Sous Lt Kerlon (340 (FF) Sqn)-Picked up and recovered slightly wounded by a ‘Naval Launch’ after only 5 min in water (HSL?).
PO P.C. McGillicuddy, Sgt W.L. Buchanan. Sgt C.G. Scott (418 (RCAF) Sqn)-Aircraft ditched, recovered by ST422
2nd Lt J. Greiner (331 (Now) Sqn)-Wounded in right leg, picked up by a ‘ML’ after about ten minutes in the water. (possibly ML194 as this ML recovered a Norwegian).
PO J. Baker (87 Sqn)-Bailed out and landed on the forecastle of an ‘RN MGB’ (MGB317?).
Sgt L. Senour (88 Sqn)-A/C ditched, recovered by Prince Charles.
Flt Sgt S.C. Creagh (610 Sqn)-Recovered by MGB317 six miles NE of Dieppe.
Lt S. Junkin JR (309th FS)-Recovered by MGB312 wounded in shoulder.
Sgt E.R. Davies (19 Sqn)-Suffered minor bullet wound to the head, but recovered by ‘ships in convoy’ (8th LCA Flotilla?).
PO G.B. Fetrow (121 (E) Sqn)-Recovered by LCA of 8th LCA Flotilla.
Flt Sgt W.F. Aldcorn (412 (RCAF) Sqn)-Bailed out C.0950, recovered by a motor launch after spending 40 minutes in the water. Probably by HSL117. (Though another report says the 8th LCA Flotilla recovered him).
PO D.R. Morrison (401 (RCAF) Sqn)-Bailed out at C.1100, recovered 17 miles off Dieppe by HSL177 after spending 15 minutes in the water.
Flt Lt F.E. Clarke (414 (RCAF) Sqn)-Slightly wounded, recovered by a landing craft and transferred to Calpe.
Adjt R. Darbins (340 Sqn)-Shot down and recovered badly wounded by an ASR launch, but DOW before reaching hospital.
Lt B. Chandler (309th FS)-Recovered by an ASR launch, but then transferred to MGB312.
Sgt J. Lofsgaord (332 (Now) Sqn)-Recovered by a ‘RN Gunboat’ (MGB312 ?) and landed ashore one hour later.
Sgt C.H. Evans (91 Sqn)-Bailed out at C.1045, recovered 25 miles off North Foreland by MA/SB31 after being found by a 277 squadron Defiant.
Sgt E.N. McCuaiq (64 Sqn)-Recovered from dinghy, later reported as being buried at sea. (possibly ML292 which recovered a dead pilot.)
Flt Lt J.L.W. Ellacombe (253 Sqn)-Recovered by LCA188.
S/L C.G. Peterson (71 (E) Sqn)-Recovered by HSL186, which was later strafed causing casualties to the crew.
FO M.G. McPharlin (71 (E) Sqn)-Recovered by RN vessel commanded by ‘Lt R. Canswick’ near the Nab light vessel. (Possibly a landing craft as a S/Lt R. Cansick RNVR was attached to Victory III or recovered by a rescue launch after some time in a dinghy.)
PO D.I. Stevenson (175 Sqn)-Recovered by ORP Slazak.
Flt Lt J.S. Fifield (616 Sqn)-Recovered by ‘a navy motor launch and later landed at Newhaven.
Flt Lt J. Niven (602 Sqn)-Recovered by ML193 and later transferred to LCF6.
Lt Lewis Wells (307th FS)-His body recovered by a Rye Fishing Boat and later transferred to HSL127.
Sgt O. Djonne (332 (Now) Sqn)-Recovered by SGB9.
Lt R.A. Berg (331 (Now) Sqn)-Recovered by ML190 soon after landing in sea.
S/L W.G. Duncan-Smith (64 Sqn)-Recovered by MA/SB24.
PO W.R. Lightbourne (501 Sqn)-Recovered by small vessel with a broken leg, transferred to a larger ship (SGB9?) two hours later and later transferred to Haslar.
Sgt F.H. Tyrrell (111 Sqn)-Bailed out at C.0920, recovered after over five hours in dinghy by HSL186. [/b][/b][/b]

Those in bold are complete. Any additions/corrections gratefully received.

Regards

Steve
