I don't know. It's a unit surviving in Hungary.

Could be a 109 as well since it seems some 605B had the reduction gear changed to match the one of the 605A indeed i have seen several reports of 109 captured with 605B inside...

Szia, esetleg lehet tudni hogy pontosan hol vagy titok ? As far as I know there's one 605 compressor used for demonstration purposes on the Műegyetem, but I couldn't persuade anybody there due to the lack of time to let me play with it.

üdv, Kurfürst

Kurfürst, állítólag a Budapesti Műszaki Egyetemen őrzik a DB 605-ös motorblokkot.

Reportedly, the DB 605 engine block is preserved at the Technical University of Budapest. There is no word of its origin, however.

Dénes could you check the reduction gear plate so as to check whether it's really a B ? The Part number should appear clearly.
