Does Anyone Recognise This Staffel Badge?
Hi guys
I am sure I have seen this emblem somewhere before but cannot place it. Can anyone identify the unit to which it belongs? Any help welcome. Thanks Tim O. Last edited by Tim O.; 7th July 2015 at 20:09. |

The emblem is generally associated with Blindflugschules.

Clint is correct and on the cow is the map of eastern Germany and Poland so this is normally associated with BFS3 which later became BFS33

Re: Does Anyone Recognise This Staffel Badge?
This is the German province Ostpreußen (Eastern Prussia). The marked locations are Königsberg and Allenstein. This is Blindflugschule 3, formed 1.11.38 in Königsberg-Devau as BFS Königsberg-Devau.

Excellent Gentlemen. Thank you very much for the help.
The Pilot's Licence of the man concerned shows he attended BFS Königsberg-Devau 15th June 1940. Best wishes Tim O. |
