Heinz Huxold, 1./NAGr. 6

Hi there Gang,

Currently on sale on eBay, some very rare photos from NAGr. 6 and the Flugbuch of Heinz Huxold, a former NAGr. 6 pilot:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/4-Originale-...EAAOSwmftdAkqu
https://www.ebay.de/itm/1-Originales...sAAOSwyNtdAk4q
https://www.ebay.de/itm/1-Originales...sAAOSwyNtdAk4q
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Flugbuch-von...cAAOSw6QJdAkgU

Any details known about his career, location and date for those photos ?

Thanks in advance
Marc

Re: Heinz Huxold, 1./NAGr. 6

Hi Marc,

Kracker says NAGr.6 and the following paper says NAGr.8, clearly. (third pic.)
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Papiere-und-...75.c100623.m-1

Since I'm not sure NAGr.6 had Bf109 but Me262 & Bf110s (according Holm's site) I'm just thinking he first flew with NAGr. 8 then NAGr. 6.
But I know nothing about him. Hope someone has an answer.

Regards,
Franck.

Thanks for your thoughts, Franck and for pointing out his assignment to 1./NAGr. 8. This gives a good time/location and unit framing for those rare photos.

Cheers
Marc

You are welcome Marc,

Left it can be a typo on official document since the seller didn't see it.
Left if we can have a confirmation concerning all units cited by seller in his comments then there is a larger choice of units: Erg.NAGr./Bromberg too.

Regards,
Franck.

Re: Heinz Huxold, 1./NAGr. 6

Heinz Huxold of 1./NAGr. 6 reportedly claimed a Mustang in mid-February 1945. Can't find any mention in Nick Beal's diary of NAGr. 6. Someone have any details on this?
