Hi Leo

Many thanks for the suggestion. I can certainly read Baumgart from the scrawl, only outstanding matter is the Staffel reads as 2./JG 5 not 3./JG 5, but even that's unclear. So I'm 95% sure it's the guy.

Any idea of the guys subsequent fate?

14 July 1944 3./JG 5 Fw Maximilian Baumgart, ground attacks nothwest of Caen, POW, loss location and reason unknown, Bf 109 G-5 WNr. 110196 yellow 12.
