Italian seaplanes in Greece
Hi gents,
Italian seaplanes on the island of Corfu. Can anyone recognize the type of them? Α Cant. Z.506B "Airone" the one? Could it be at Guvia, the later German airfield (sea)? Korfu-Guvia Br 39° 39`N, Lg 19° 50` O, 7 km WNW off Korfu, near the village Guvia. Last edited by byron-; 17th June 2015 at 05:36.

Hello,
maybe could be of some interest to know that the photo should have been made on April, 28th, 1941: at 8:30 am 5 Cant Z 506 of the 86.Gruppo/35. Stormo BM (Bombardamento Marittimo) carried out an air Landing of some Blackshirts and, in the afternoon, other 4 Cant Z landed other soldiers. Regards fabrizio
