Bf 109 losses of II./JG 3, Oct. 2nd and 3rd, 1943

Gentlemen,

II./JG 3 reported the loss of two Bf 109 G-6 on October 2nd, 1943 and the following day, the respective a/c being

Bf 109 G-6, WNr. 18 841, emergency landing after aerial combat, Königsmoor, damage 50%, pilot unknown, unhurt,

and

Bf 109 G-6, WNr. 20 617, emergency landiung after aerial combat,
Bovenkerk / NL, damage, 65%, pilot unknown, unhurt.

Are any further details regarding these two incidents known, especially the markings of the a/c ? Any help - on or off board - would be gratefully appreciated.

Kind regards

Jochen Prien
