Sat.May 25,1940, crash Do-17 at Mouscron,Belgium.
Hey !
This plane had problems and tried to land in the fields around Mouscron. However, 2 crewmembers jumped out at lower altitude and were killed. The plane crashed finally on some houses in the Rue Verte (green street), the pilot ejected from the plane felt dead in the middle of the street, two civilians were also killed. Who can help to find the names etc of this crew? Thanks for sharing informations in advance ! Fredcompa |

Re: Sat.May 25,1940, crash Do-17 at Mouscron,Belgium.
The loss list I have is very hard to read but it looks like KG3 lost several Do17's this day with two of the crews lost at unknown location. Additionally a Do17 of 3(F)/11 crew of B Ltn Mayer? was also lost location unknown crew shown as missing to killed. Perhaps someone else could check if they have a better copy of the records,
