Re: ME109 shoot down during plane service flight at Rothenberg (Odenwald District)
Hi all
A little thing, Rothenberg is not in the north of Koblenz, but many south of this area. Exactly it is 13km SO Beerfelden, and 35km O Mannheim. JoMe |

Re: ME109 shoot down during plane service flight at Rothenberg (Odenwald District)
Sorry, that I didn't check with map. However, I checked now my files. 2 km südöstlich Rothenberg, 13 km südlich Beerfelden is location given in NVM. Location 30 km nördlich Koblenz has been earlier in my files with this loss. It comes from some other source (which I don't remember) and I have unfortunately left it in my table, when adding a more exact location. Please ignore that old location and stay with NVM location, which should be correct.
Best regards, Matti |
