Oblt Oswald Laumann II/SKG10

I am looking for any information on Oswald Laumann. I have recently come into the possession of some documents to this man. I know that he was KIA in March 1943 over England while on a sortie to Dartmouth, Devon. I have the information contained in Chris Goss's publication 'Luftwaffe fighter bomers over England' and 'The Blitz then and now Volume 3'. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Where is he buried? I look forward to any information.
Thank you,
Andy

Re: Oblt Oswald Laumann II/SKG10

Hi,

Oblt Dr Oswald Naumann was originally buried in grave C 19729 at Plymouth Western Mill Cemetery and moved to Cannock Chase in March 1963, but in which one at Cannock? the VDK have no listing for him.
Regards
Joe.

Hi,
Interesting ......
Do you have further on the western military cemetry,
It is a new one for me.
I am wondering if it is a mis-spelling in records of :-
Weston Mill Cemetry,
With the accent it could sound similar.
Which has allied pilots buried there still.
Cheers
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

You are correct, I thought Mill was an abbreviation, I stand corrected.

Joe.

Re: Oblt Oswald Laumann II/SKG10

Hi joe ,
no prob's, I am a plymouthian, and I know our accent is difficult to understand sometimes.
Strange Laumann is missing at cannock chase,
If I get the chance , I will try to pop into weston mill and ask if they have any records that might help, might be working in plymouth next week .
cheers
Jerry
