Are there many DVD's 'out there' that contain lots of Gun Camera footage? Example linked here.

I have tracked down a couple and ordered them but I'm really struggling to find 'lots' of Gun Camera footage on DVD. There are some excellent clips on Youtube, but all are low quality.

This one is superb:

and is of the type of footage I am trying to track down, but in DVD quality rather than Youtube.

Does anyone have any links to DVD's that may contain this quality of footage?

Cheers, MP

Try this:

http://www.zavvi.com/dvd/gun-camera-...2/9999197.html

It is very basic: no narration, but interesting footage from all fronts. Some colour film and some straffing footage. Prob. give it about 7/10.

Flypast magazine were very po-faced about the DVD when it came out some years ago, their reviewer saying it was in bad taste. They seem to think WW2 was just about shiny, restored aircraft.

Thanks for the link, very much appreciated.

I managed to get two more DVD's called "Gun Camera Europe Volume 1" and also Volume 2.

These have extensive footage too.

Not many shots so-far of strafing of trains which I know was a common occurrence, but I'll continue the search.

Cheers, MP
