Hi Wijbe

Very interesting request. I have some old De havilland sales brochures and I'll check to see if the DH.85 is included.
Thinking of buying one or have one for sale?

Regards

Vince...

Hi Vince, not really. I am writing a short article on a Dutch gentleman who bought this plane in the UK and that in 1935. Now, l buying a plane and taking flying lessons means that he must have considerable financial resources during that time. Just want get an impression what these costs are and how it is when placed in todays context.

Appreciate your help very much.

BR

Wybe,

According to this article on http://all-aero.com/index.php/contac...5-leopard-moth

the price was £ 1125 in the 1930s. Our British friends may tell what that would be worth now?

Groet,

Leendert
