Fw-190 ''white <57''

Hello,
I have to identify the wreck Fw-190, '' white <57 '', has anyone information about him?
It's a photo from the end of the war.
Regards Kris

Re: Fw-190 ''white <57''

Could they be the remains of Fw190D-11 <57+, 220011, of the Verbandführerschule, it crashlanded at Fl.Pl.Bad Wörrishofen.

Hello Kris,
I believe this is Fw 190 A-F (xxxxxx) chevron 57+ W, found abandoned at Königsberg-Neumark, Poland.
Respectfully,

Re: Fw-190 ''white <57''

Steve, my colleague confirms this picture is from Königsberg/N airport, and there until January '45 had the base Verbandsführerschule General der Jagdflieger http://www.ww2.dk/air/schule/vgdj.html,
is there a 'W' behind the cross - I can not see it in my picture.
The number and chewron is identical to the one from Denis's book, but it's not Bad Wörrishofen.
Has the replacement of Fw190A on Fw190D occurred in Königsberg / N or already in Bad Wörrishofen?
Kris.

Hello Kris,

My bad. In my database files W = white. I should have spelled-out white.

Respectfully,

It looks like an F from the callsign in front of the white tail!

Re: Fw-190 ''white <57''

Hello All. White 57> is AN FW 190A-8 or A-9 Built by Focke Wulf. The fuselage was produced by Cottbus but the assembly looks like it was assembled by Sorrau . No more can be made of it since the tail is over painted white, although the Swastika is correct for Focke Wulf production Fall 1944.
Sincerely.
