Mosquito Combat Reports 264 and 488 Squadrons, 3-4 August 1944, or who shot down Hptm. Autenrieth?
Dear all,
In an effort to ascertain who shot down the St.Kpt. of 6./NJG4 and 21-victory ace Hptm. Autenrieth on 3-4 August 1944 at Fougères, I am looking for the Mosquito Combat Reports of 264 and 488 Squadrons for this night -who has access to these records? Cheers and thanks, Theo

488 Sqn: Patrick + Concannon, 2354 h, 2 m W of Avranches, FC3; CR: Air 50/161-58; Mosquito XIII HK532
264 Sqn: Cosby + Murphy, 2359 h, 8 m SW of Vire, FC3; CR: Air 50/104-65; Mosquito XIII "S". Still working on your other list. Enjoy! Frank.
