Must be quite a big airfield drainage being in the ground. Also must be after war nobody is carrying guns and no trucks tanks etc. Notice waco is put in the load/unload mode. Struts being installed in tail.

Yes, after the war but did they move the Wacos from place to place once the first landing was made? I don't think so... Well, I can be wrong, of course.

So, my question is "on which fronts did the US used the Wacos?"
Sicilia, Normandy, Provence, Market Garden and Rhine crossing ... is that all ?
Hence I, we, can think the picture isn't taken in Norway or Greece or continental Italia ... this is what I meant.
...
Second aspect of the question being that "Senotstaffel" stuff.
Reading Michael Holm page (that's the only one I have to chew) only Seenot 7 had Ju52s .. is it correct?
