Me 163 fuselages at Kassel, Germany

This is the often photographed He 162 that was reassembled by American servicemen at Kassel, Germany using the fuselage of W.Nr. 120067 "white 4" as the base. Note the tilt of the wings. http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....pictureid=1405 In this photo of "white 4", two Me 163 fuselages can be seen at the far right. http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....pictureid=1406 From the "Armament" sign behind them, these Me 163 fuselages seem to be on display. This photo gives a good view of how the cannon were integrated into the wing root. |
