431 (Iroquois) Sqn. loss 25./26.7.1944

Hello,
I' looking for crew photos from Halifax III MZ 858. Plane lost by Flak near Stuttgart, alle officers crew incl. W/C Dow, the commanding officer of 431 Sqn. Five PoW, the two Gunners KIA. There are here rumors that same personal items from the crew (Uniform Jackets, Escape maps etc.) found at an farmhouse near the crashplace.

Dear all,

Are there any detailed crew reports available (from the five surviving crew members) about the circumstances of the loss of MZ858? I have the Flak claims details but also have a German night fighter claim that could be tied to this loss.

Cheers, Theo
