Pilot Wolfgang Wielstisch of .6/ JG 27
Does any expert on JG 27 can confirm if this pilot flew with JG 27?
I do not know if it is Wolf or Wolfgang Wielstisch or Vielstisch. I met him in Brazil some 8 years ago when he used to fly gliders and I used to tow them. Well, he flew G-6s to K-4s, seems to have taken part in Bondenplate but was shot down by Spitfires ( So he said...) in 1945 ( he did not tell me when ). He baled out although badly injured and spent almost a year in a Hospital. He is a physicist with PhD and still in good health. Please, any information about the date he was shot down, the aircraft he flew would be great. I lost my contact with him almost 8 years ago and do not know if he is still alive... Glad for all AB |
