Fw. Kurt Huth shotdown over England
Hello,
Could anybody provide details of a bomber shotdown over England in early July 1941?. probably on 7th. The only crew I know is the bordmecanik Fw.Kurt Huth who became POW and spent the war in Canada. Thank you |

July 4-5 Night 8/KG4, Heinkel He111H-4 (5692) Shot down by F/O I.K.S.Joll and Sgt R.W.Dalton in a Beaufighter of 604 Sqn which was damaged by return fire. Crashed at Oakford, Devon, 0335hrs. Gefr W.Fürstenberg, Ofw K.Huth and Gefr W.Pütz baled out and taken prisoner. Uffz F.Krenz killed. Aircraft 5J+DS destroyed. Hope this helps Joe |
