Could someone help with an MACR for Sept 15th 1944?

I have a friend whose Uncle was killed on a strafing run over Elusis Aerodrome, Athens, Greece. Would really like to find out as much as possible about the incident and if at all possible the aircraft he was flying?

Name Lt. John Frederick Lynch
325th FG/318th FS
P-51C (or B)

To clarify, I have found contradictory information which shows him flying #32 for the 317th Fighter Squadron, serial 43 - 24889.

Apologies for such little info. but if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated, cheers, MP

It is MACR 8761, and is 6 images long on Fold 3. P-51B-15NA 43-24889. Occurred at about 0930 hours, last seen 36-04N, 23-35E, crashed near Kifissia. Presumably caused by ground fire.

Enjoy!

Frank.
