Civilian Pilot Training Program - USA

Hi I am trying to get some information about CPTP, mainly some details about it in Illinois.

I have found following two books:

Strickland, Patricia. The Putt-Putt Air Force: The Story of the Civilian Pilot Training Program and The War Training Service, 1939-1944 Washington: Dept. of Transportation/Federal Aviation Administration, Aviation Education Staff, 1971.

To Fill the Skies With Pilots: The Civilian Pilot Training Program, 1939-46 (ISBN: 0252019946)
Dominick A. Pisano

Does anybody has any of these books and can provide me some info?

Thanks a lot in advance

Pavel
