Help with Badge
Apologies if this is not the right area to post. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction?
I have been passed a small metal badge, in the shape of an Ovel less than 1 " long, which says: TEN GERMAN BOMBERS IN THE AIR A red background with RAF wings and King's crown, two St George crosses and the bottom line over black.AND THE RAF FROM ENGLAND SHOT THEM DOWN Anyone any ideas? Can put a photo on my site if necessary. Alan Fraser http://www.stirlingpilot.org.uk |

Re: Help with Badge
Thanx Amrit1, for a speedy response. My Pal received this one in a batch of what was labelled as "Raf Squadron Badges". As I am a non-collector (and a non- footie person either!), I was fairly sure that one of you guys would nail it ........ perhaps just as well I did not put it in the Luftwaffe Forum :-)
Again, many thanks Alan |
