He 111B-2 GP+A?

Hello,

and secondly, do you know the details of the military career of He 111B-2 GP+A_ ?
The aircraft probably belonged to FFS C 12 Prag and belly landed in January 1941 "bei Prag".

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

The only 2 He111B I have with the FFS(C)12 at that time was GP+AP & GP+AR. However, I have GP+AR upturned onto nose with only slight damage but with no date. But this is a far cry from a 'belly-landing'?

Hello Tom,

the date of accident of the upturned onto nose GP+AR at Prag-Rusin was 17 February 1942.

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

Thank you, very interesting, I have a short note.

any accident of He 111 GP+AR on 17 Feb 1942 I can´t find in list of Verlustmeldung, only He 111 wnr. 5223 RF+NM on 1 Feb 1942 (the date is crossed out and rewritten to 15.2., both is wrong, by gendarmerie report is right date of the crash 15 Jan 1942)

I have two pictures of He 111B ??+AR in Prag-Rusin, it is probably GP+AR of FFS (C) 12, and three pictures of He 111B GP+A? after crash in "Januar 1941"

From the same series of photographs is still crash of He 111B TH+AI, details are for me unknow.

Which accident are you talking about? GP+AR?
If yes do you have a WNr?

Cheers

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

I have RF+NM as a Type E with no W/Nr - with Gr.KFS 1 (July 1940 to March 1941) from 3 Flugbuchs. If this Stkz has a W/Nr 5223 then it has to be a Type H built by ATG.
TH+AI - Type B/F-2 with FFS(C)12 - Dec 1940 (Fb.Bohme). Do you have crash dates for this?

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

I think that TH+AI is most likely a typo. More likely to be TN+AI.
TH+AA to TH+AO - Fi156C-2 - W/Nr 5006 to 5020.
TH+AP to TH+AZ - Kl 35B - W/Nr 4171 to 4181.
TN+AI to TN+AZ - He111Bs

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

TH+AI is no typo. The code is clearly visible on a photo of this crash landed He 111 at Prag-Rusin, date unknown, published in FLUGZEUG Fotoarchiv Vol. 6 page 80.

Re: He 111B-2 GP+A?

Hello friends,

my appologize, it's a bit chaotic here, there are many cases and I welcome your help:
1) He 111B GP+A? belly landing January 1941 "bei Prag", probably GP+AP or GP+AR of FFS(C)12

2) He 111B GP+AR, Prag-Rusin 17 Feb 1941 or 1942 upturned onto nose (FLUGZEUG Fotoarchiv Vol. 10 page 54 and Vol. 11 page 106.)

3) two pictures of undamaged He 111B ??+AR in Prag-Rusin / probably again GP+AR of FFS(C)12

4) emergency landing of He 111 GP+AM on 14 Feb 1942, crew P Uffz. Gerhart Tomm, Fw. (Sch) Paul Fieg and BM Oswald Kraus / probably FFS (C) 14

5) picture of disassembled after crash He 111B TH+AI, Prag, details unknow (FLUGZEUG Fotoarchiv Vol. 6 page 80)

6) He 111 wnr. 5223 RF+NM, 90% damage "bei Prag", right date of crash is really 15 Feb 1942 (sorry, my mystake)
