The missing electrical connectors found on the firewall would help clearly identify the engine type: DB 505 AS or DB 605 D.

How did you reach that conclusion based on the front part of the aircraft alone? I'm not saying your identification is wrong, I'm just curious - to me it seems that all identifying characters of the K-4 are either missing (pretty much the entire fuselage behind the firewall is missing) or out of view (lower wing surface), and the aircraft does seem to have a small oil tank.
