Unknown wreckage

Hello Experts,

I ask you for help. I was handed out a photo with an unknown wreckage.
Probably it was not an army plane, but could have flown during WWII. earlier or later.
Gerhard Stemmer thinks it was a Hungarian plane, maybe a Savoia Marchetti.
A handwriting in German says : St. Anton, Schwarze Wand (Black Wall).

Can you give any more info, according to your experience?

Many thx for your suggestions in advance.

Re: Unknown wreckage

The shape of the fin and rudder points to a Savoia Marchetti of some kit, but if there are other clues visible (flap sizes, dihedral?) I can't identify them.

St. Anton

It's probably not useful but I feel that St. Anton (Sankt Anton) sounds Austrian so this accident would have happened in Austria. "Schwarze Wand" is the precise location where it took place: "Black Face" (a mountain face).

Re: Unknown wreckage

This is actually the wreckage of the Potez 25A2 No.1 which crashed into Isabelle glacier when returning to the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes from the 2nd Flying Meeting in Zurich on 24 August 1927. Both the pilot Dragomir Pajević and observer Živorad Petrović succumbed to their wounds.

Re: Unknown wreckage

Three aspects to Ciglic ´s solution:

Ciglic s great photo is undoubtedly referring to my photo. It is our crash.

His time data should be correct,
the crash is not mentioned under Safty Network. Attachment.

Surprisingly the Izabel (Isabelle) galcier could be found until now.

Who can comment? Thx.
