Ditching aircraft

Can anyone tell me if the dingy from a Wellington (circa 1943) contained oars in it?

Re: Ditching aircraft

Taking part in a Mk1C recovery (crashed in 1941) I can't recall any oars were found in the dinghy. Didn't they use things to put on their hands instead ? We did find a bottle of 1941 cognac in it ! Hoped you would have got some more replies by now...

Regards,

Paul
