FW 189 with Night fighter Training Units?
Try to find out which Night fighter Training Units flew Focke Wulf in general and FW 189 specifically.
Thanks Rolf |

Re: FW 189 with Night fighter Training Units?
I think your question seems to be misleading/ wrong.
AFAIK there were no explicite NF training units with Fw 190. However, units like JGr 10, JG 300 etc, did make use of (NF) Fw 190s operationaly. Newly assigned pilots were trained "on the job". The Fw 189 was not used as a NF, but as a makeshift ("improvisiert") nocturnal destroyer (auf gut Deutsch: "Nachtschlächter" und nicht "Nachtjäger") against targets like the russian Po 2. It was therefore equipped with a simplified (only one antenna, instead of four) FuMG 202/212 and a turret mounted MG 151(/20).
