Uffz Robert Brock 3./JG54
Uff. Robert Brock 3./JG54 was KIA on 22Jun41 in Bf-109f-2 (Wknr. 5733) according to JFV6/II he died in a mid air collision. Approx 09:00 (Moscow) Vasiliy Sergeyevich Lodoba 10IAP rammed a Bf-109 for his 2nd victory in a I-16. He was also KIA and it appears from JFV6/II it was his only real victory but in the process of saving a friend. Does anyone know if Robert Brock had any previous victories?

Re: Uffz Robert Brock 3./JG54
Christian, Thank you for clearing that up. I'll have to check further to find out who Loboda rammed or if he was just shot out of the air before he could make a ram.

Re: Uffz Robert Brock 3./JG54
I rechecked the times of the dogfight and the VVS time is 6:00-07:00 (Moscow) the 10IAP claimed 4 Bf-109's for one I-16 (Loboda). The 10IAP was operating out of Shavli, Lithuania (Now Siauliai) (to the German's at the time it was Schaulen. The Luftwaffe units operating in that area were II/JG53, I/JG54 and 8/JG54. No claims for a I-16 by them. No losses but Brock which turns out to be collision with II/JG54. There was one other forced landing at Altenburg with 50% damage on a 1/JG54 Bf-109F (Wkr. 12 638) with no pilot name. Could some one give me the meaning of "Spritmangel" as tranlators are coming up blank.

Re: Uffz Robert Brock 3./JG54
Thanks Robert. I don't know the exact Russian web address of the site but it was listed as Eastern Front in the translator. It had a link from allaces.ru. It was a article written by a V. Borovoy of the 10IAP.
