Lt Horst Stephan
Hi,
Anyone have anything more on Lt Horst Stephan of JG5. Flew with them in 1943 and 1944. Seems to have had 4 victories with JG5. Can't find anything more. Did he survive WWII? regards, Mark

In case that you don't have this - from Luftwaffe Career Summaries - Stankey and deZeng STEPHAN, Horst. (DOB: 25.10.22). 01.02.42 promo to Lt(Ing.)/Al. 30.04.43 Lt.(Ing.), Erg.ZGr. trfto Ob.d.L. pool (Sch.Etat). 02.06.43 in 4./Erg.JGr. West. 10.07.43 Oblt., trf to JG 5 and then to 9./JG 5 as a pilot. 03.09.43 Lt., 9./JG 5. 26.09.43 Lt., 9./JG 5. 03.11.43 Lt., 9./JG 5. 14.01.44 Lt., 9./JG 5. Credited with 4 victories. Nothing more there though. He does not appear in either the Namenverzeichnis or the Luftsiege sections of Gerbig's JG 5 book.
