I have several questions about the British losses that day.

How many losses in total(including damaged)?
By compiling my varius sources,I was able to identify;

32S qd=1
501 Sq=2

Hello Michel,

From the Tony Woods files there were 14 Hurricane, 27 Spitfire and 1 Morain Claim's made for the 12th August 1940. Total claimed 42.

145 - 3 Hurricane's - R4176; R4180; P3391.
152 - 2 Spitfire's - K9999; P9456.
213 - 2 Hurricane's - P2802; P2854.
253 - 0
610 - 4 Spitfire's - K9818; L1044; P9495; R6806.
64 - 1 Spitfire - X4018.
32 - 1 Hurricane - N2596.

Re: 12/08/1940;British losses

Hi Alex

I don't have quite the same claims by Luftwaffe.

35 claims by Bf.109 + 22 by Bf.110 =57

from various sources,I have (151°Sq: hurricanes P 3302,P 3304 + PO Debenham badly shot up,serial unknown)

54°Sqd:N3160 shot down Datford (59 miles of Margate by the road)

According Caldwell and new book on JG54:two Hurricanes of 56°Sqd (P 2970 and ??,two Spitfires of 64°Sqd:X 4018 and a second forced-landed) with no more precisions.
