Bahnuk, Austian in Luftwaffe

Hi guys

Rather an obscure request, but I have just read that the illustrious Canadian night intruder ace Wg Cdr Russ Bannock DSO DFC (born in Canada of Austrian father) changed his Austrian family name of Bahnuk to Bannock on the eve of WWII. Apparently he had two cousins who served with the Luftwaffe. Do we know anything about them? Of course, they may not have been aircrew! A long shot, I know, but .............

Cheers
Brian
