Re: Photo Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft

Hi

Thanks Stig. Fixed it I hope, but given your response for the other two items from that seller, I'm wondering if it will be worth the wait or has been previously seen.

Edit

I see doing a search Bob Pearson has done a colour profile of this machine at:

http://www.cbrnp.com/profiles/quarter1/fk8.htm

So I'm assuming that the photo is already known too.But why the white triangle marking - not usually associated with 35 Squadron?

Regards,

Clint

Re: Photo Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft

Thanks Clint

Yes it has been published before and I must say I agree with the nickname Queenie II rather than Lucille.

Not sure from where you get 35 Sq from in relation to this photo?
It is seem here on charge with No 2 Sq in mid-August 1917 when it was flown to the French for inspection and photographing.

All this is also explained on Bob's website you mention.

Cheers
Stig
