Hungarian Air Force service dress uniforms

Hi,

Just wanted to let you all know I finished the series on Hungarian officer service dress uniforms on my museum website. Here are the the three main features.

1. Standard Service dress

2. Service dress for parade

3. Service dress for winter

Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Cheers,

Tod

Very nice collection, Tod!

BTW, those side pockets on the jacket are humongous! A small arsenal (or a large bottle) could be hidden in there...

Hey Tod,

Excellent job. Will send you some extra stuffz in the future (hope, soon, depends on my time)

By the way, just released a book about the Royal Hungarian Armed Forces' uniforms between 1926-1945 with a lot of excellent colour pictures (incl. RHAF uniforms too).
You can see the book here:

and several sample pages under the "mintaoldalak" link at right

Csaba!

I must have that book! Did you take part in creating it? How can I get a copy?

Cheers,

Tod

Csaba,

How small this community is! Now I finally know what Baczoni Tamás looks like. I have corresponded with him about certain details to make sure they are right. He told me he had been trying to publish a book for a while and there he is at the photo shoot. Very cool.

Re: Hungarian Air Force service dress uniforms

Tod,

I did not take part in the book's creating, since I'm not an uniform collector (I have just few aviation uniform parts, which I got from aviator families as gifts).
But I know László Tóth, who has an amazing uniform collection. For this book, he got a lot of help from other collectors and from the Military Museum as well. I just linked here the book, since imho it would be a must have for you.
If you would like to catch a copy and it is problematic to you to order it from Hungary, just drop me a pm and I'll try to help.

Cheers,

Csaba,

Unless you can show a secure place in English that I can order from, I would appreciate your help.

Thank you,

Tod
