AndydBird is on a distinguished road
F/O Peter Charles Haines 684 Squadron PRU

Peter Haines was a navigator whose pint was Jack Winship a Canadian, Winship was a prolific chronicler of his time in the Far East however, it appears Haines became a POW in late 44 or 1945 then escaped, but have found know reference as yet up to October 1944 in ORB.

Before I drive up to TNA to look through Dumdum airfield AIR 28 and ORB just wondered if anyone has any info ?

Kind regards

Andy Bird
