Si204 photo

Hello! Please help with some background information about this Si204.

- What variant is this? D-0, D-1 or D-3?
- Anny suggestions about the unit? Note that code A3+FD over painted to Rl+Y.
- What emblem appears in photo 1.4 at tail’s tip?

Thanks in advance,
Alexander

Re: Si204 photo

Alexander,

As far I know:
Si 204 V10 !!!! WNr.10 RI+YE
used by FFS C 16 from July to September 1943.
The "emblem" is most probably Siebel Halle factory badge .. but others should know better than me.

Regards, Franck.

A3+FD is the code of 4./KG 200 but I don't know anything about this particular aircraft.

Re: Si204 photo

Alexander,

the emblem at the top of the rudder is the Siebel company logo.
Is there any indication where this aircraft was found?

@ photo-war,

yes it's the emblem of Siebel Flugzeugwerke on the left fin rudder.

Norbert

P.S. (edited): Merlin was a bit faster than I was.

Re: Si204 photo

Many thanks to all for great background information about my photo; I appreciate your help very much!

There is no information in album where exactly this photo was made, but few others have caption – Галле, that stands for the city of Halle.

Best regards,
Alexander
