Kuvi Sight

Hello chaps,
I'm in the process of making a replica Kuvi sight, i believe it was used as a navigational aid. I have the information on the main frame assembly, but lack any detail or data on the "X" frame that fitted on the front of the unit. If anyone can point me in the right direction to obtain a manual or books, or help out with any photos, i would be most grateful.
