Soviet (?) aircraft type to be identified
This photo was sold recently on eBay. What a/c type could it be?
Thanks,

Re: Soviet (?) aircraft type to be identified
The upside down wreck seems to be this of an IL-4 or DB-3F series

Re: Soviet (?) aircraft type to be identified
The wreck seems to be smaller than the Il-4's. Also, there is an oval shape opening on the fuselage side, which is atypical for the Il-4.

This is a Li-2 transporter. You see the upper-fuselage here.
