It may not be entirely of wood, for example the engines were held and covered by metal structures. Your pieces look very much like parts of this

little late for replying but bingo and yes Thanks Theodor it looks like the parts that I have obtained. Now I know a bit more as the Mosquito crashed at Lommel Kolonie(Belgium) in a hamlet called De wateringen. Any idea which Mosquito that could be??
