RAF crashed machines on e-bay
Hi all,
I have question about some new founds on the e-bay and started this general topic. 1. question : http://www.ebay.de/itm/Orig-Foto-Abs...AAAOSwykpZowyF http://www.ebay.de/itm/Orig-Foto-Abs...8AAOSw6WVZow0p This is not Spitfire, but Typhoon from 266.SQ - is possible, that the 2nd photo from same seller is wing of the Typhoon? Do you have more info about crash/belly-landing of this machine? 2. question http://www.ebay.de/itm/2-WK-FOTO-FLU...75.c100623.m-1 Searching more info about this Spitfire... Thanks Faenor |

Re: RAF crashed machines on e-bay
23-24 May 1943 Wellington Flak, killed most of the crew but survivors. Crashed Bergkamen, night attack on Dortmund. Who were they? ( 1 of the 6 lost Wellingtons that night)

Re: RAF crashed machines on e-bay
The Hurricane appears to be a 12 gun IIb. It also has the exhaust shields which might make narrowing down the unit slightly easier although saying that the squadron code is indistinct.
