A 'Confirmatory Report' was compiled regarding the 22/3/42 strike on Lae a/f. It was signed by John Jackson and forwarded to RAAF Headquarters, Melbourne.
It records that Peter Turnbull was one of several pilots that engaged Zeros but 'no enemy aircraft were shot down'. Bruce |

Thanks Col, Much appreciated. The ORBs are a great read, but it's hard on the eyes - I've gotten as far as May and had to stop for a while.
I need to work out how to search for and find this stuff. Thanks again Peter |
